Besides its famous New Year's Eve fireworks, each corner of the city promises something different. While the central London clubs offer something more upmarket and glossy (and, let’s face it… pricey…) the further east or south-east you head, you’ll likely find something a little edgier.
Do I need to see the New Year's Eve fireworks?
London's New Year's fireworks display is undoubtedly impressive. It takes place this year from Sunday 31 December 2024 at 8:00pm right into New Year's Day at 12.30am. Just bear in mind that it's a ticketed event (tickets are £20 each), and you'll need those tickets to access certain areas.
You can get a pretty good view of the fireworks from other areas in London further along the river Thames - and it's certainly something the whole family can enjoy.
But hear us out: London is renowned for its nightlife offerings, and if you're in the city this New Year's, it's worth considering a night out to bring in 2025.
